Our multidisciplinary approach ensures a robust and reliable diagnosis. Your first consultation is with an ADHD specialist clinician, which is followed by a diagnostic evaluation with an ADHD psychiatrist.

Upon completion, you will receive a full diagnostic report, clinical letters suitable for sharing with your GP or employer, and a personalised treatment plan outlining the recommended next steps.

The HealthHero Adult ADHD Assessment Package includes:

If you’re exploring an adult ADHD diagnosis for the first time, our private assessment is split into two simple steps - with no hidden costs:

Step 1: £45 to begin your journey, including access to digital symptom review tools

Step 2: £410 for your full clinical assessment with an ADHD clinician and psychiatrist (You can also pay this in instalments)

This includes everything you need:

Your formal diagnostic report

Clinical letters for your GP or employer

A personalised ADHD treatment plan based on your needs

The assessment process typically takes between 2 and 12 weeks. The exact timing depends on your availability and how quickly you complete each step – but all assessments must be completed within 12 weeks.

After your diagnosis, your psychiatrist will recommend a personalised ADHD treatment plan.

This may include:

ADHD medication

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) tailored for ADHD (6 sessions)

No - medication is just one option, and it’s never mandatory.

The decision to include medication in your treatment plan is made after a thorough evaluation with one of our psychiatrists. They’ll assess your symptoms, listen to your goals, and provide tailored recommendations based on your diagnosis.

While ADHD medication is highly effective for many people, it’s not the only approach. We also offer non-medication strategies, including behavioural interventions, lifestyle support, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

The final treatment plan is always a collaborative decision - designed to suit your preferences, needs, and overall wellbeing.

Yes. While observer input (from someone who knew you in childhood) is helpful, it’s not essential. We’ll work with the information available and talk through your options during the assessment process.

If you already have an ADHD diagnosis, you may be eligible for a shorter treatment pathway - depending on where and when your diagnosis was made.

We currently accept:

Childhood diagnoses (made before age 18 by a specialist)

Adult diagnoses completed through the NHS

If your diagnosis meets these criteria, you won’t need a full reassessment. Instead, you’ll complete a short digital check-in, upload your previous report, and have a final consultation with our psychiatrist to explore the best treatment options for you.

If your diagnosis doesn’t meet these criteria, we can guide you through a full assessment to confirm your diagnosis and build a personalised care plan.

Note: We’re currently not accepting individuals with a pre-existing ADHD diagnosis.

Yes. All ADHD assessments are carried out by GMC-registered psychiatrists and ADHD-trained clinicians with specific training in adult ADHD. We follow NICE guidelines and operate under CQC and MHRA oversight to ensure safe, high-quality care.

You can cancel or reschedule with at least 72 hours’ notice. Changes made after that window are non-refundable. Please contact our support team for help.

Our adult ADHD services are available to UK residents aged 18 and over - whether you're seeking an initial diagnosis, a treatment plan, or ongoing ADHD support.

Psychological support and medication are not included in the initial diagnosis package - they are separate services that incur additional fees.

After your diagnosis, your clinicians will recommend a treatment plan that may include:

ADHD medication

Psychological support (a 6-session programme tailored for ADHD)

Or a combination of both

The HealthHero ADHD assessment is split into two parts:

Step 1 (£45): You’ll complete digital ADHD screening questionnaires based on NICE guidelines and provide background information about your symptoms and history. If medication is being considered later, you may also be asked to upload an ECG report to assess your heart health as a safety precaution - your clinician will advise you if this is the case.

Step 2 (£410): You’ll have two clinical consultations - first with an ADHD-trained clinician, then with a psychiatrist. They’ll carry out a full diagnostic evaluation and, if ADHD is diagnosed, you’ll receive:

A detailed diagnostic report

Clinical letters for your GP or employer

A personalised treatment plan

You’re not obliged to proceed to Step 2, but most people do unless a clinical concern is identified (e.g. risk to self or others). If you choose not to continue, no further charges apply.
